Loneliness and comfort zones!

Life of a loner is hard also because some of the regular issues that one would laugh over and let go off in a company of a few good friends become so profound in loneliness that life eventually starts to seem a lost cause.

Presence of people around you helps expand your comfort zone to encompass even certain inevitable fears and failures of life.
But loneliness does the otherwise, the same trivial failures start eating up into your comfort zone and a point comes when you are no longer comfortable anywhere.
For the same reason, I guess, loneliness is also a test of character.
The weaker would run for company, the stronger would stay to face their dark fears in search of wisdom and change. Either ways it boils down to a pursuit of peace.

PS – Found this old rambling while going through my mobile phone’s memopad. Glad I wrote this thought down 🙂

  2. Yes! Yes! Three times yes!!

People, who don’t want to be or can’t even stand to be alone, are simply afraid to be alone, not just with themselves, but with their thoughts as well…

I am glad this one ended up on the internet for others to see.
